Section 125 CrPC
This is a very powerful provision under Criminal Procedure Code that allows a wife, children, and parents to claim maintenance from a person who has sufficient means but neglects or refuses to maintain them.
Who Can Claim?
- Legally wedded wife (even if divorced)
- Minor & major children
- Aged parents
